If Real Salt Lake's lineup has an oddly familiar look to it, it's because it looks basically like last week's — minus Joao Plata and Justen Glad. That means Javier Morales and Sunny have remained out of the starting lineup.
Still, both have recovered sufficiently to be potentially involved in the match from the bench.
Morales presents a particularly interesting note here, because he had spoken recently about being ready for 90 minutes — but the latest from the club is that he's not quite 90-minutes fit yet, and after missing a fair amount of training in the last two weeks with a fractured rib, this sort of makes sense. Luke Mulholland starts in his stead, which is hardly his best position, but it does offer a tactical approach that Jeff Cassar seems to have worked well in.
Sunny remains absent from the team after suffering a lower leg injury against Colorado Rapids, but his return to the bench is a good sign that he's on the road to full fitness.
Justen Glad is a notable absence, having been left on the bench in favor of Jamison Olave, who hasn't appeared for the team since a late red card a month ago against Portland Timbers saw him dropped for the youngster.
Finally, Jordan Allen isn't too surprising an addition, being the most sensible replacement for Plata in a tactical sense.
In better news, this is a surprisingly strong bench, with Morales and Sunny likely entrants in the second half.
