It was an overall bleak performance in Houston

MLS: Real Salt Lake at Houston Dynamo Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Jeff Attinella - 5.5 Attinella shanked a ball that gave DeMarcus Beasley and Cubo Torres a great chance on goal. Frankly, it was incredible that Torres didn't score the goal, rather, he headed it low so hard that it bounced over the goal. Beyond that, Attinella had a few good reaction saves.

Chris Wingert - 5.5 Wingert did not adversely affect the game, but the speed of Houston did get the best of him a few times.

Jamison Olave - 4.5 Olave had what I would call a fair showing. For most of the game he was in the right spots at the right times. On the other hand, Olave let Torres free a few times and repeatedly got beat by David Horst and was lucky that he didn't convert at least once.

Justen Glad - 6 Glad had to make some tough decisions at times and played smart. He was decently sharp and went toe to toe with Torres for most of the night.

Tony Beltran - 5 Beltran was on the wrong side of Giles Barnes after getting forward and well out of position leaving Attinella's odds of beating Barnes to chance.

Kyle Beckerman - 6 Beckerman was tenacious as we would expect but his passing was not as good as we are used to.

John Stertzer - 5 Stertzer made some aggressive tackles but otherwise was not very involved in the game.

Javier Morales - 5.5 For the past two games, Morales has not looked like himself. He had a couple of key passes this game, which is an improvement over last, but something doesn't seem right.

Juan Manuel Martinez - 6 Martinez was better on defense than on offense in Houston. Odd, right?

Yura Movsisyan - 6.5 Movsisyan was probably the best player on the field for RSL, but also missed his one on one chance to give RSL a goal on the road. He tried to redeem himself with that fantastic pass to Olmes Garcia in injury time, but it was not to be.

Joao Plata - 6 Plata, like Burrito, was very good on defense and put in the work needed to help his teammates. He nearly scored a goal were it not for a late whistle.

Substitutions

Luke Mulholland - 5 Luke came on when RSL were on their heels and had a difficult time putting a stamp on the game.

Joao Plata - 5 Allen came on and played calm, but also had difficulty controlling the game.

Olmes Garcia - 4.5 Garcia had a chance to tie the game up when Movsisyan sent an incredible ball in, but he missed.
