Real Salt Lake's first shot a trophy in 2016 starts on June 15, when the team will face their first opponent in the fourth round of the US Open Cup, either Wilmington Hammerheads or Miami FC, depending on the winner of a third-round match.
It'll be the first time anyone plays at Rio Tinto Stadium — at least in any official capacity — following the replacement of the grass at the stadium.
Season ticket holders already have tickets to the game, listed as "Bonus Game A" on tickets.

RSL opened their 2015 Open Cup campaign, in which they made the semifinal before losing to LA Galaxy, against Seattle Sounders FC 2. they won that match, but only after the team switched to a more first-choice lineup and earned an indirect free kick in the penalty box after a pass-back was called.
In 2014, RSL lost in the fourth round against Atlanta Silverbacks, who were led to a win by Kwadwo Poku — he later went on to join New York City FC, where he's somewhat of a cult figure.
