Nick Rimando - 8 Nick Rimando made what was one of the best saves of his career, and that's saying something. He got his paw on a ball that was destine for goal. After that save hit the post, he immediately made another big save, this time with his head. That play preserved a very important three points for RSL before their road stretch.
Demar Phillips - 6.5 Phillips looks like he wants his starting job back. He looks like he is playing with more drive and focus.
Aaron Maund - 6 Maund drew some smart fouls and was in good spots when needed. Unfortunately, he had to come off early due to injury.
Justen Glad - 7 Glad made a couple of minor errors, but not the kind that make you pay. He did register his first career assist and it was a timely one to level the game.
Tony Beltran - 6.5 Beltran was getting into the attack with frequency and had some nice footwork that nearly led to a goal. More importantly, he did what he does and pretty much owned his side of the field.
Kyle Beckerman - 7 A vast improvement from the game in L.A., Beckerman was the safety net on a few occasions and connected the dots with Sunny at his side.
Stephen Sunday - 6.5 It was nice to have Sunny back in the lineup. He brought that tenacity that had been missing for the last game or two and allowed Beckerman and Morales to do their thing.
Javier Morales - 7 Morales created chances and embarrassed some Houston defenders along the way. Had he scored in the dying seconds of the game, he definitely would have been up for goal of the week.
Juan Manuel Martinez - 7 Martinez and Morales have a beautiful little connection going. Martinez was unfortunately unable to finish a few chances, but he does so much more besides score that he still earned high marks.
Yura Movsisyan - 7.5 Movsisyan showed us how he has improved as a gamesman. He baited the defenders multiple times and made timely runs, one of which was his second goal of the season and the go ahead goal in the match.
Jordan Allen - 8.5 Filling in for the missing Joao Plata is no small task, but Jordan Allen registered a goal and an assist on the night. He was a little quite for much of the game, but at the same time, he made the big plays.
Substitutions
Jamison Olave - 5.5 Olave did not look very quick in his reaction times with defenders making runs at goal and, bad luck or not, was the guilty party in the Houston goal since the ball deflected off of Olave before it went in.
Luke Mulholland - N/A
Devon Sandoval - N/A
