Movsisyan chips Tim Melia, RSL leads Sporting Kansas City 3-1

MLS: Real Salt Lake at Sporting KC Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Yura Movsisyan simply couldn't let tonight's match finish without getting a goal for himself.

After forcing the second goal to put RSL up 2-0 on a Brad Davis own goal to end the first half, Movsisyan could have considered his influence done for the night. Not that he ever should or would, you know, but it's something you occasionally see from players at much higher levels than this.

Real Salt Lake had only just conceded a goal to SKC, allowing Dom Dwyer to pull his side back into contention, when Movsisyan decided a two-goal lead was exactly what the team needed.

Kyle Beckerman won the ball from Benny Feilhaber, and in doing so, immediately pushed out a fantastic pass that landed at the feet of the aforementioned forward. He started a good run diagonally, but it was his final push with the ball at his feet that put him in position to loft the ball gently over former RSL (and current SKC) goalkeeper Tim Melia.

That's certainly one way to go up 3-1 — and to think, it came from Kyle Beckerman winning the ball from that "bozo" Feilhaber. It's perfect, isn't it?
