It seems like a once-yearly (or maybe twice-yearly) occasion that Real Salt Lake makes a huge lineup change — and tonight against FC Dallas, with a U.S. Open Cup match on Tuesday and a home MLS match on Saturday to contend with.
Tonight’s lineup features a fair amount of youth.
Omar Holness will see his first start for the club and his MLS debut only three months after suffering a seizure on the pitch, while Boyd Okwuonu and Phanuel Kavita will be making their second and third starts of their MLS careers, respectively.

Interestingly, Morales — listed on the lineup graphic — is one of several players who did not travel to the match. It’s not clear when he was scratched from the team’s plans. Whatever the case, it leaves Real Salt Lake with only 17 players available for tonight’s match.

This also marks the first start of 2016 for Olmes Garcia, who has gone from being a near-constant appearance-maker in 2015 to a little-used figure this year.
Chris Wingert and Jamison Olave will provide sigificant experience for the RSL lineup, and Luke Mulholland and John Stertzer have been no strangers to first-team minutes this year.
