Beckerman, Holness called in to WCQs for USA, Jamaica

Two of RSL’s midfielders will likely miss RSL’s Sept. 7 match against LA Galaxy.

Kyle Beckerman and Omar Holnes have been named to their respective national teams, meaning both are likely to miss Real Salt Lake’s next match against LA Galaxy on Sept. 7.

Both teams will play matches on Sept. 2 and Sept. 6, and while there is no need for a direct replacement for Holness, who was likely to claim a spot on the bench, it does leave some question marks for RSL in the defensive midfield spot.

But with that match still a week and a half away, smart money will be on a potential Sunny appearance — but more on that later.
