Lineup thoughts

  • Expect Danilo Acosta to continue starting at left back, especially with Demar Phillips only listed as probable, and perhaps especially after an apparent spitting incident in the last Real Monarchs match in which he played.
  • Luis Silva will almost certainly get the start, despite his listing, with Brooks Lennon moving out wide in place of Jefferson Savarino, who we may not see again in the regular season.
  • David Horst will get the center back spot in place of suspended Marcelo Silva, which would leave Chris Wingert as our only fit center back option on the bench. Fun!
