You know our reaction to the leak of Real Salt Lake’s new kit last week? Well, things aren’t quite as bad as they seemed.
The club posted two photos on Twitter today, and we’ve got to say, it looks better on a person than on a mannequin. That’s probably inevitable. But there are also details on the kit that we didn’t see before.
Take a look for yourself:
On the face of the jersey, there are some reasonably subtle stripes down the front, just like on our home kit. Remember when we thought the home kit was markedly “meh” from the leaks? I guess that’s a common theme these days.

Alright. So, it’s still a little bland, but it does look a lot more streamlined and slick than it does simply plain, I think.
