Our coverage
Lineup news and thoughts
- Omar Holness is out with Jamaica, having played the last match. Will he see time against the U.S. Men’s National Team?
- Nick Rimando is out, too, but with the United States. I doubt he starts, given he started the last one. Still, you never know.
- Justen Glad, Sebastian Saucedo, Brooks Lennon(!!!), and Danilo Acosta are out, too. They’re off with the U.S. U-20s.
- In more positive news, Albert Rusnák could be set for his first-ever RSL appearance, which would fill us all with a certain amount of glee.
- Expect to see some more of those Real Monarchs players as we look to have a stronger vertical integration across our teams (do I sound like I could be in business?)
- And, no, before you ask, Kyle Beckerman isn’t injured. I think. At least, the reason he didn’t play the last friendly wasn’t because he was injured — it was because he’s a “known quantity.” Alright? Alright.
