In one of the least surprising news items of the day, Real Salt Lake’s five-strong youth contingent was named to the U.S. Under-20 squad for the CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
Danny Acosta, Justen Glad, Sebastian Saucedo, and Brooks Lennon, all with Real Salt Lake, were named to the squad; they’re joined by New Mexico right back Aaron Herrera, who is a product of RSL’s academy.
It’s unlikely that any of the four from RSL will return before the season starts.
