The next fifteen minutes remained back and forth with Los Dos having the best chances before the Monarchs once again seized control around the 30' mark. Chase Minter got the second goal for the Monarchs in the 36' after Besler slipped the ball through to him following another give away in midfield by Los Dos.

However, Galaxy 2 responded almost immediately in the 38' as Justin Dhillon pushed a ball past Sparrow following a poor give away by the Monarchs defense. The first half ended 2-1 after several more chances for both sides and little hectic and chippy play.

After another extended period of control, Omar Holness added a third goal in the 66’ as he picked up the ball about 45 yards out and then drove straight toward goal and curled a fantastic ball into the upper corner.

After Holness received a yellow card for dissent during the ensure setup Ethan Zubak buried his shot into the back of the net to make the score 3-2 in favor of the Monarchs. Chandler Hoffman also come on to replace Skyler Milne at striker.

Shortly before the march ended Hanlin gave the ball away and then picked up a yellow when fouling Ryo Fuji but the resulting free kick was handled well and the match ended in a 3-2 victory for the Monarchs. And leaving the with 4 victories in 4 matches so far this preseason.
