If you’ve been watching Real Salt Lake’s match against Toronto FC, you undoubtedly saw some less-than-savory action that led to a penalty call against Nick Rimando — and some excellent goalkeeping to prevent a goal in the process.

Sebastian Giovinco — and I think it’s clear from this angle — initiates contact after pushing the ball past Rimando, but that’s certainly not what Allen Chapman (who calls Utah home, in case you forgot) saw.
Of course, Nick Rimando remains the best penalty stopper in MLS, and this afternoon proved no exception.
