Is RSL on the verge of multiple signings?

Andy Williams is at it again. Could RSL really be making signings before the close of the transfer window?

If you haven’t been paying attention to RSL’s head scout Andy Williams on Twitter, you’re missing out on some juicy transfer rumor action.

The RSL original is well-known for dropping little transfer hints here and there — it’s like he feeds on it, and who can blame him? I’d be doing the same thing in his shoes. Let’s take a look at some of his recent tweets.

This came right after RSL’s win in Colorado. Great! Note here that he’s used reinforcements plurally — that’s meaningful, because it gives us reason to think that two or more signings could be joining.

To tease us more, he’s referencing a visit to Madrid.

What’s in Madrid? Plenty of soccer, certainly. It’s also likely a great way to get to other parts of Spain. Or maybe — just maybe — Andy’s pulling our collective legs here. He’s been known to do that.

But then there’s this.

Ohhh — would you look at that? We don’t know if Venezuela and Madrid are tied together, but it’s sure something to think about.

For reference, here are some tweets from around the same time. Andy Williams is celebrating.

We don’t really know what’s happening, but you know — it’s hard to really suss out what exactly is going on. Is it worth getting excited over?

Yes. It’s always worth getting excited about transfers. Every single time.

For whatever it’s worth, the transfer window closes on May 8, so we have a few weeks to make something happen. Here’s hoping.
