Minnesota vs. RSL: Brooks Lennon, Man of the Match

Brooks Lennon once again proved that he deserves to be on the field for Real Salt Lake. Even when it looked like the team was in complete turmoil suffering a lashing to the MLS Expansion side, Minnesota United, Lennon kept his head down and was as determined and bright as ever.

Lennon did a little bit of everything from getting the best of Kevin Molino to creating chances to pushing RSL to keep up with him. He was having a nice showing and after an injury and a couple of substitutions was switched to outside back he excelled there too.

RSL clearly has a very unique, valuable talent on their team. While on loan from Liverpool, he is now experiencing first team starting minutes and a regular pace. And deservedly so. Lennon has something special about him. If the game is going well or not, he is determined and going full speed the whole time.

Let’s hope RSL can right the ship and Lennon experiences a winning culture sooner than later. Otherwise, his loan will surely be a short one.
