The U.S. has a pair of important qualifiers slated for the month of June, as well as friendly that will be played at our very own Rio Tinto stadium. The Nats will face off against Venezuela next Saturday, June 3rd in Sandy, Utah. They will then travel to Commerce City Colorado to square off against Trinidad & Tobago on June 8th, and against Mexico away in the Estadio Azteca on June 11th.

Included in the roster is our very own Nick Rimando, who no doubt caught the eye of Bruce Arena after two solid performances as of late against Seattle and Philadelphia. Including a PK save against his now teammate, Clint Dempsey.

In total, 15 of the 27 players called up are currently playing in MLS (55%) which speaks to the continued growth in developing and attracting the top domestic players to stay stateside. The Bundesliga sees 5 players called in (19%) and Liga Mx with 3 players.

Also, kind of strange seeing Brad Guzan listed as an Atlanta United player as he is now set to join them at the conclusion of his final season in England.
