For tonight’s friendly against Manchester United, Real Salt Lake is putting out a lineup that wouldn’t be out of place on Wednesday against Portland Timbers in league play.
That’s not particularly surprising, given comments from RSL coach Mike Petke this week.
Not in the starting lineup? Yura Movsisyan, who is absent with a hip injury that’s been bothering him this week. He was only jogging in training on Saturday.
Expect the first-choice selection to play maybe 30 minutes, but don’t be surprised if that turns into a full half of action.
