Real Salt Lake midfielder Jose Hernandez, a product of the RSL-Arizona Academy and UCLA, has been called to join the MLS Homegrown Game roster, according to a release today.

Hernandez is one of three players joining the roster; he’ll be alongside SKC defender Erik Palmer-Brown and Atlanta United midfielder Chris Goslin. They replace Vancouver midfielder Alphonso Davies, Montreal midfielder Ballou Tabla, and Portland defender Marco Farfan.

The 21-year-old midfielder scored his first professional goal this year, his rookie year with Real Salt Lake.

Hernandez joins RSL comrades Brooks Lennon and Justen Glad on the roster for the match against the Chivas U-20 side on Tuesday.

The match will be broadcast on Univision Deportes Network and streamed live on Facebook.
