Mike Petke put out the usual suspects tonight in the starting eleven, the only surprise being Chris Wingert at left back instead of youngster Danny Acosta.
RSL kept the visitors scoreless in the first half while staying scoreless themselves, enjoying the lion’s share of possession and chances on goal.
With none of their shots on target, RSL put plenty near the frame and went toe-to-toe with the visiting Dynamo in what was a favorable matchup for the visiting side.
It was quite a back-and-forth game as both sides had their fair share of chances, although RSL outshot the visitors 21-9 overall, but none of those 21 shots ended up on frame.
The game ended up in a 0-0 draw when either team could have ended up with the full three points.
Regardless of outshooting the Dynamo 21-9, RSL failed to register a shot on target as they split the points with Houston.
