RSL vs. Seattle: Which goal was better?

Are you picking Savarino’s winner or Mulholland’s finish?

MLS: Seattle Sounders FC at Real Salt Lake Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Real Salt Lake scored two absolutely incredible goals against Seattle Sounders on their way to a win,

Jefferson Savarino, 1-0

Savarino’s finish was absolutely perfect, zipping over Stefan Frei’s right shoulder on its way to nestle in at the near post. And the pass to get there, and the pass before that? They don’t get much better than this.

Luke Mulholland, 2-0

First, let’s be clear: You’re not rating goal celebrations. There’s no contest. The four-man fingers-to-the-sky-in-praise celebration was a fun change from the normal solitary Plata celebration, but this? I will forever remember Luke Mulholland face planting, just like I will forever remember him hitting the post. This better be on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays.

Anyway, the goal! It was also a beautiful one, and Mulholland’s finish took a lot of skill. The cross was absolutely inch-perfect, too.
