Albert Rusnak, Jefferson Savarino, and Shawn Barry have been called into their national teams for the next international break. Rusnak will be facing Ukraine (11/16) with the Slovakian National Team in the UEFA Nations League. Savarino joins the Venezuelan National Team for two friendlies against Japan (11/16) and Iran (11/20). Barry and the Puerto Rico National Team take on Belize (11/16) in the CONCACAF Nations League.

Rusnak won the golden boot for RSL in 2017 with 7 goals and 14 assists. This year, he sits behind Damir Kreilach in goals scored. Jefferson Savarino led RSL in assists this season, with 11 in the regular season. Defender Shawn Barry has played 4 games, 3 of which he started, totaling 204 minutes for the team.

These international call-ups won’t affect the players eligibly for Real Salt Lake’s playoff games. Albert Rusnak is ineligible for Sunday’s match against Sporting Kansas City due to yellow card accumulation. The team will need to score at least one goal in Kansas City in order to stay alive as SKC has an away goal after their 1-1 draw at Rio Tinto Stadium last weekend.
