Because it makes total sense that your league website is the source breaking rumors about your league’s teams, we can now officially report that MLSSoccer.com is reporting that Pablo Ruiz has joined Real Salt Lake.
They also reported some other stuff — “no longer pursuing Jesus Dueñas,” but let’s focus on the actual news for now.
Ruiz, 19, is a midfielder — and, yes, we called him a winger earlier in the week — playing with San Luis de Quillota, a Chilean club. He, himself, is an Argentine youth international, and he played in the 2015 U-17 World Cup with his nation.
This latest report is that they’ve “agreed to a deal.”
sources have confirmed to MLSsoccer.com Wednesday that RSL have agreed to a deal to acquire 19-year-old Argentine midfielder Pablo Ruiz on a permanent transfer from Chilean club San Luis de Quillota.
So, there you have it. Pablo Ruiz, Real Salt Lake midfielder. We’ll report more as we know it.
Not winger. Definitely not winger. I don’t know who told you that.
