For those who participated last year, this will be familiar. All you have to do is pick the winner of each MLS game (and yes, when the Utah Royals and Royal Monarchs start, I’ll include them too for triple the fun and points!)
Each week will have a staff and reader “Oracle of the Week”, and the full score table will be revealed so you can track your progress. Now for the new bit... instead of merely picking the winner, this year you get to pick the final score!
Points will be earned as follows:
- Getting the right result (Team A beats Team B): 1 point
- Each correct number of goals: 1 point (result as 1-1, and you picked 2-1; gives you 1 correct pick and 1 wrong pick so 1 point).
So there is a total of 3 points possible for EVERY game.
As with last year there will be a Google Survey for your picks. I won’t be listing the week’s games in the articles, but for those who don’t want to take the survey you can add your picks in the comments below and I’ll add them to the spreadsheet.
