Today the RSL family faces a situation that is still new to us. We have a rich history that spans slightly less than 14 years in total, however we have just now been forced to suffer the permanent loss of one of our own. Liam was here with us for only a short span arriving mid-season to become an assistant with Real Monarchs, never racing down the field as the fearless player many others remember, yet he made a mark on our family that will not be forgotten.

From the Celtic Academy days in his youth...

Before moving on to the parent club Celtic United...

Then through Manchester United FC...

To Sunderland AFC...

And Hibernian

Before moving down under to the Perth Glory FC...

And finally to the Wilmington Hammerheads where he met other members of the Monarchs coaching staff...

Liam led a rich life which was cut tragically short at the age of 36. So as the lights go out, we remember him along with all the others whose lives he touched and enriched. May we all keep his family, teammates and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers at this moment.
