RSL vs. New York Red Bulls: TV schedule, live stream, kickoff time

Here’s how to watch tonight’s RSL match.

MLS: Real Salt Lake at FC Dallas Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Real Salt Lake will hope to kick their season into a higher gear tonight as they face New York Red Bulls in a match that might otherwise be most notable for some Mike Petke history.

Instead of us being able to talk about how this is Mike Petke’s first chance to face the club that fired him from a coaching position, we’re instead forced to reckon with their last match, in which we lost 5-1 against expansion side LAFC.

Whatever your reason for watching, here’s how.

Match details

  • Where: Rio Tinto Stadium; Sandy, Utah
  • When: 7 p.m.
  • Local TV: KMYU (2.2 over-the-air / 12 satellite / 643 Comcast HD)
  • Web: KSL.com, MLS Live
  • App: KSL TV (not KSL News)
  • Radio, English: ESPN 700 AM
  • Radio, Spanish: 104.7 FM

Lineup news

  • Remaining out, as expected, are Tony Beltran, Jordan Allen and Taylor Peay. One does start to wonder when Allen starts to enter the fray again. He ought to be close, right? Right?
  • Aaron Herrera and Marcelo Silva are both listed as questionable, so I don’t think we’ll see them play.
  • Adam Henley is listed as probable, and I suspect he could make his RSL debut tonight. The cold of England has to suit him, right?

Lineup prediction

  • GK: Rimando
  • Defense: Henley, Horst, Glad, Acosta
  • Midfield: Beckerman, Kreilach, Rusnak
  • Attack: Lennon, Ortuño, Savarino
