Familiar faces resurface across USL

Many former RSL and Monarch players will be active in USL during the 2018 season

As the Monarchs enter their fourth season in 2018, they are beginning to have a large number of former players active with other teams in the USL. In addition, a number of former Real Salt Lake players have also signed with USL sides in an effort to continue or revitalize their careers.

As play in USL is almost entirely within conference until the playoffs, the teams have been divided by conference with those in the Western Conference listed first. I have also included the date of their match at Zions Bank Stadium for fans who want to re-establish old friendships.

Western Conference

Fresno FC (May 12 & June 26) - Kyle Reynish started in goal in the squad inagural game and played a full 90 minutes in the loss against Las Vegas Lights FC

Las Vegas Lights FC (April 30) - Freddy Adu has joined the circus in Las Vegas

OKC Energy FC (October 3) - Matt Van Oekel played the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 victory over Tulsa Roughnecks FC

Phoenix Rising FC (July 28) - Kevaughn Frater came on as a substitute in the 60 minutes in the drw with Orange County SC

Tulsa Roughnecks FC (August 18) - Eti Tavares came on as a substitute at the 81 minutes and Riggs Lennon was in the 18, but did not make an appearance

Reno 1868 FC (August 8) - Jordan Murrell was named captain and played a full 90 minutes in the loss to Swope Park Rangers

Saint Louis FC (September 12) - Phanuel Kavita has yet to make an appearance

San Antonio FC (September 3) - Pecka started in the loss against Sacramento Republic FC and received a yellow card during his 72 minutes

Swope Park Rangers (May 9) - Chase Minter came in as a substitute at 78 minutes in the victory over Reno 1868 while Christian Herrera is yet to appear

Eastern Conference

Atlanta United 2 - Devon Sandoval just joined this new side whose first game is this weekend

Bethlehem Steel FC - Omar Holness is still recovering from injury and yet to appear

FC Cincinnati - Emery Welshman started in the 1-0 victory over Charleston Battery and Daniel Haber came on as a late substitute at 90 minutes

Indy Eleven - Amass Amankona has yet to appear

Tampa Bay Rowdies - Max Lachowecki made the 18 against North Carolina FC but did not appear and Kyle Curinga has not yet appeared
