Let’s Talk: Who should start at full back?

We want to hear who you think are our best fullbacks!

MLS: Real Salt Lake at Vancouver Whitecaps Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

One thing that’s stood out this season has been Real Salt Lake’s issues at the full back position. From the Soapbox to the MLS Website, it’s been remarked on how fragile we can look at left and right back, sometimes both at the same time.

We’ve several players on the books in those positions. At right back, we’ve got the injured Beltran, Adam Henley, Aaron Herrera and Brooks Lennon while on the left we’ve seen Demar Phillips, Danny Acosta (who’s spent time in the doghouse this season already) and Pablo Ruiz. Nobody has really nailed down the starting spot, with Lennon being the closest to a regular, despite it not being his natural position however he’s not done near enough to wrestle that from Beltran when he returns one would assume.

With this revolving door of players out wide everybody has their own opinion on who should be the first name on the team sheet for those spots and we want to hear your opinion on your picks for the fullbacks.

So, let’s talk. Who would you start at right and left back if everyone was fit and available?
