Lineup news

• Joao Plata is still listed as questionable, as is Luke Mulholland. I don’t expect Mulholland to appear, but I certainly think it’s possible Plata’s on the bench.
• The usual suspects are out: Jordan Allen, Shawn Barry, Tony Beltran, Demar Phillips, Alex Horwath. (Five players out for the majority of the season ... yeah, it’s not ideal.)

I’ve gone with the lineup it seems that Mike Petke prefers at home, but I do have a few question marks here.

• Is Luis Silva going to start over Corey Baird? I think that’s possible, but I’m not counting on it. Certainly both present very different projections of what a forward looks like in this system.
• Sebastian Saucedo is my pick to start on the left wing, with Joao Plata listed as questionable. I don’t think the Ecuadorian is ready for a start, but I’ve been wrong once or twice in lineup predictions before. Or more. Probably more.
• There’s certainly an argument to be made for a Sunny-Beckerman or Sunny-Kreilach midfield, but I think Mike Petke’s going for the pairing that he’s stuck with most of the year, especially at home.
