Missed chances led to a tie.

MLS: Montreal Impact at Real Salt Lake Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 6 Three saves and a couple other big plays led to a good night for Rimando.

Aaron Herrera - 7 Herrera had a tall task with Piatti spending a lot of time on his side. He kept him pretty much at bay and had a lot of other really critical plays on defense that showed he deserves to start right now.

Nick Besler - 5 Besler was part of a couple of miscommunications that could have cost RSL. He had some other smart plays as well.

Justen Glad - 6 Glad had a pretty good showing except for one attempted tackle that went wrong.

Brooks Lennon - 6.5 Lennon was there on defense when he needed to be and was in control of his side of the field all night long.

Damir Kreilach - 5.5 Dami had a good look at goal that he probably could have placed a bit better than he did. His passes weren’t connecting like they usually do though.

Kyle Beckerman - 6 Beckerman had two scoring chances that were probably RSL’s best of the night. One went wide and Bush saved the other.

Albert Rusnak - 5 This was one of Rusnak’s least notable games of the year. It’s not that he had a poor performance, he just was not as involved as we are used to.

Joao Plata - 6.5 Plata had a pretty stellar first half with a couple chances and a converted PK, then had an incredible pass in the second half that gave Savarino a great shot. Then his passes just were not connecting from that point on.

Corey Baird - 5 Baird’s highlight of the game was his pass that gave Kreilach a good shot just outside of the box. It was a pretty quiet night for him besides the yellow card.

Jefferson Savarino - 6 Savarino has to feel disappointed after this game. He did a lot of good things that should have added up to either an assist or a goal, but he didn’t get either.
