Player Ratings: LAFC 2 - RSL 0

A sloppy first half cost RSL the game.

MLS: Real Salt Lake at Los Angeles FC Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 5 No big saves from Rimando who was subbed off at the half strangely.

Aaron Herrera - 4.5 Herrera left his feet a lot and the LAFC attackers took advantage.

Nick Besler - 3 Besler was in the mix if not to blame for Ramirez’s two first half goals, one of which went right through his legs. He also got away with a handball in the box in the second half.

Justen Glad - 6 Without question, Glad was RSL’s best defender on the night. Not to say that he had a perfect game, but he had some solid tackles and stopped a good amount of chances.

Brooks Lennon - 5.5 Lennon had some smart plays and battled with Nguyen and Rossi all night long.

Shawn Barry - 4 Barry looked pretty tired and got beat a few times in the first half.

Kyle Beckerman - 6 Beckerman laid into Feilhaber a couple of times and was calm enough to make an extra pass when needed.

Sunny - 6 Sunny was one of the few players on the field showing some grit and control on the ball in tight spaces.

Albert Rusnak - 5.5 Rusnak got a couple shots off and had a shot on goal, but his corner kicks were not finding the right spots.

Corey Baird - 5 Baird did not see much action on the ball all night long in what was an uncharacteristic formation for RSL.

Bofo Saucedo - 6 Bofo was RSL’s most dangerous attacker on the night but was also a bit selfish with the ball on a couple occasions.

SUBSTITUTES

Andrew Putna- 6 Putna was alert as a substitute and came up with four saves in 45 minutes.

Joao Plata - 5 Plata didn’t inject much into RSL’s offense with most of his passes not finding their intended targets.

Pablo Ruiz - 5.5 When Ruiz was on the ball, he did pretty well. THe problem was that he came on with only about 20 minutes left.
