On Wednesday RSL announced that Rob Zarkos has been promoted to be the Executive VP of Soccer Operations.

In that announcement it says the following.

"According to the team, Zarkos’ hire will allow RSL general manager Craig Waibel to narrow his focus on the technical aspects of building the Real Salt Lake roster."

This is interesting since the team just recently resigned Waibel to a new contract.
