Player Ratings: RSL 2-4 FC Dallas

RSL was once again down players.

MLS: FC Dallas at Real Salt Lake Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 5 No spectacular saves from Rimando on the night. In fairness to him, the oddds were stacked against him with RSL being down a man for most of the game.

Aaron Herrera - 4 Barrios’ speed proved too much for Herrera on a few occasions.

Erik Holt - 4.5 Holt was a little discombobulated for the 11 minutes he was on the field and was not holding a high line with the rest of the defenders.

Nedum Onuoha - 5.5 Of the back four, Nedum was RSL’s best, but once again, playing a man down was a bit much.

Brooks Lennon - 3.5 Lennon had a really soft pass in the first minute of the game that led directly to Dallas’ goal. He seemed a bit off the rest of the night.

Kyle Beckerman - 5.5 Beckerman was hard done by his yellow card, but pushed through and played a smart game the rest of the night.

Everton Luiz - 7 Everton was again a bright spot for RSL. He was covering a lot of ground and had a clean game.

Albert Rusnak - 6 Rusnak had a nice assist on Marcelo Silva’s goal and played really well in tight spaces.

Bofo Saucedo - 6.5 Bofo was having a really nice game and looked determined to keep RSL in the game. He had a nice assist to Savarino and nearly had an incredible goal early in the second half.

Damir Kreilach - 4 Fair or unfair, Damir was sent off when his anger got the best of him. He put himself in a position to let the ref make a decision.

Jefferson Savarino - 6.5 Savarino had a really nice goal to breathe some life into RSL fans after going down a man. He did some really impressive things on the ball at times and then tried to take on too many defenders at other times.

SUBSTITUTES

Marcelo Silva - 5 Silva had a strange game. He was directly responsible for Dallas’ second goal and was directly involved in Dallas’ fourth goal. He also had a goal off a corner. Some good, some bad.

Corey Baird - 5 Baird had a pretty uneventful game and, like Savarino, got caught up in traffic a few times.

Sam Johnson - N/A
