Player Ratings: Cincinnati 0-3 RSL

RSL executed against the expansion team.

MLS: Real Salt Lake at FC Cincinnati Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Andrew Putna - 5.5 Putna deserves a lot of credit for being able to step in on the road and get the job done. One save isn’t much, but he was composed and ready to go.

Aaron Herrera - 6.5 Herrera was really confident on the ball in this game making some nice switches across the field and showing us some skill-checks along the way.

Justen Glad - 6.5 Glad had a lot to do with the shutout for RSL with how well he read the game in this one.

Nedum Onuoha - 6 Nedum, along with Glad, was calm in the back and helped keep FC Cincinnati off the board.

Donny Toia - 5.5 Toia had a pretty nice game at left back except for losing his man on what turned out to be a wide open header that luckily Cincinnati missed.

Kyle Beckerman - 5.5 Beckerman was physical in this game with two fouls and some play that frustrated the Cinicinnati attack.

Corey Baird - 6.5 A lot of RSL’s scoring chances went through Baird and he absolutely deserves recognition for that even if his shots unfortunately did not find the back of the net.

Albert Rusnak - 8 A brace for Rusnak clearly made him the Man of the Match for RSL. His first was a nice take at the top of the box and his second was a well-taken penalty after having dislocated his finger earlier.

Damir Kreilach - 6 Damir had a nice game playing a catalyst role in his connection to the attack and playing the ball in the right places at the right times.

Jefferson Savarino - 6.5 Savarino was attacking for most of the night and drew the penalty that gave Rusnak a great chance to get his brace which he did.

Sam Johnson - 7 Johnson got his second goal in a RSL kit through a bit of hustle and being in the right spot when the ball bounced around in front of goal. He also put in a lot of work on the defensive end to boot.

Substitutes

Bofo Saucedo - 5.5 Bofo came on and played the villain role by annoying the opposition to help close out the game.
