In their first game back from the FIFA break, URFC played well. Who stood out?

STARTERS

Nicole Barnhart: 7.5 - Barnhart made a few amazing saves to keep a clean sheet and a win.

Michelle Maemone: 5.5 - Maemone didn’t have an awful game, but she didn’t play as well as she has. She had multiple give aways that could’ve led to opportunities.

Gaby Vincent: 7.5 - Vincent proved once again that she deserves to be starting. She was solid all night and made a big save in the second half.

Sam Johnson: 7.5 - Johnson also played really well and won Woman of the Match from the club. Her performances have improved from the start of the season.

Becca Moros: 6.5 - Moros had a quiet but good performance.

Gunny Jónsdóttir: 6.5 - Jonsdottir was a force in the midfield like usual. She was all over the place putting in effort.

Mandy Laddish: 6.5 - Laddish put in a solid shift in the midfield.

Katie Stengel: 6 - Stengel hasn’t been the offensive force she was last year. It’s concerning, but she played fairly well.

Vero Boquete: 6 - Boquete played pretty well in the minutes she played. Unfortunately, she had to be taken off early due to injury.

Erika Tymrak: 6.5 - Tymrak brought a lot of energy and effort onto the field. She played well, but her shots were right to the keeper.

Amy Rodriguez: 8 - Amy had a world class goal that won Royals FC the game. She made multiple dangerous runs that her teammates couldn’t connect with her on.

SUBSTITUTES:

Mallory Weber: 7 - Weber put in a solid shift in the minutes she came on. She replaced Vero and looked dangerous while putting in work on defense.

Sydney Miramontez: 6 - Miramontez played well in her first appearance of the year.
