Player Ratings: RSL 4-0 Philadelphia

It’s pretty clear who the Man of the Match was.

MLS: Philadelphia Union at Real Salt Lake Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 5.5 Rimando did not have to deal with even one shot on goal, but looked very alert all night.

Aaron Herrera - 6.5 Herrera is really getting good at finding a streaking forward from distance. He is looking more and more dangerous on both sides of the ball.

Marcelo Silva - 6 Silva had a quiet but effective game in the middle.

Justen Glad - 7 Glad had three chances to score, but luck was not on his side. He made some timely tackles to help keep the Union from having one shot on goal.

Brooks Lennon - 6 Lennon, much like Silva, had things on lock down even if he did not make the highlight reel.

Everton Luiz - 7.5 Everton’s strength and skill were both on full display against Philly. He had a few incredible plays, not least of which was his ability to win the ball, take it 60 yards, and find Kreilach for the goal.

Kyle Beckerman - 6.5 Beckerman set the tone early on some of the Union’s best players and picked up a simple assist on Savarino’s second goal.

Damir Kreilach - 7 Damir helped fill the void of not having a true striker on the field and had a lot of nice creative play.

Jefferson Savarino - 9.5 Savarino had one of the best perfomances in a RSL jersey that we have seen in a few years. Both of his goals were masterful. His assist to Rusnak was visionary. Simply put, his confidence is soaring right now and we are all lucky to watch it.

Bofo Saucedo - 5.5 Bofo drew some attention but was unable to get a clean shot off. He was involved a fair amount in the attacking play though.

Albert Rusnak - 7.5 Rusnak had a nice game with multiple displays of fancy footwork and a great dagger goal.

Substitutes

Corey Baird - 6 Baird came on with about 20 minutes to play and did a good job of continuing to apply pressure and was selfless with his movement.
