Player Ratings: FC Dallas 0 - 0 RSL

A point in Dallas is a good point.

MLS: Real Salt Lake at FC Dallas Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 6 Rimando was alert in Dallas, especially on shots from distance, and notched another clean sheet.

Aaron Herrera - 7.5 Aaron was really fun to watch. He earned the Man of the Match honors with his work rate and smart defensive play and shut down a lot of Dallas’ attempts to get at goal.

Marcelo Silva - 6.5 Silva continued his run of good form and came up with a couple more hard tackles and tough play to earn the shutout.

Justen Glad - 6.5 Justen was really up for the battle against Dominique Badji and did not back down in any fight for the ball. He held his own and was really good positionally, especially considering Dallas’ speed.

Donny Toia - 5.5 Toia did well overall but had some repeated trouble with Barrios.

Kyle Beckerman - 6 The captain was at it again, making his presence known in the middle of the field. He got things done and used a bit of intimidation when necessary.

Everton Luiz - 6 Everton did a good job once again of breaking up play in the midfield. He did a lot to get around a few Dallas defenders and get the ball in front of the goal, but his final decision was ultimately the wrong one.

Jefferson Savarino - 6 Savarino was RSL’s most dangerous player on offense, but as evidenced by the scoreline, was unable to convert his chances on goal.

Corey Baird - 5 Corey’s body language tells us he is as frustrated with his inability to find a goal as we are. He had a great chance off of a poor clearance and put the ball right toward Jesse Gonzalez. The goals will come eventually, but it did not happen in Dallas.

Damir Kreilach - 5.5 Damir’s highlights of the game were his in his skillful passing to create half chances for RSL. Not much came of the chances, unfortunately.

Sebastian “Bofo” Saucedo - 5 Bofo was a little too ambitious with his shots from distance. He had more than a couple of shots that were way off the mark. He did draw some attention from Dallas’ defense though.

Substitutes:

Brooks Lennon - 5.5 Lennon came on as a direct positional replacement for Bofo and did the right things to help RSL earn a point.

Tate Schmitt - N/A
