Player Ratings: Utah Royals FC 3, Sky Blue FC 0

The game was one of the most entertaining games of the season. Who got the highest marks?

Lucas Muller | RSL Soapbox

Nicole Barnhart: 6.5 - For the most part, Barnhart had a quiet game. When she was called upon, she answered.

Mallory Weber: 7.5 - Weber had an excellent game, stopping the Sky Blue attack and helping on the offensive side, having a shot on goal and an assist to her name.

Becky Sauerbrunn: 7 - Sauerbrunn had a solid night and even took a shot on goal! She didn’t make it, but it’s good to see her try to score a goal.

Rachel Corsie: 7 - Corsie was great on defense and also had a couple of shots on goal that were unluckily missed or saved.

Katie Bowen: 7 - Bowen was involved on both sides of the ball and made good runs to help the offense.

Lo’eau LaBonta: 8.5 - LaBonta had a fantastic night, assisting both Press goals. She was one of the better players on the night, which is saying something.

Desiree Scott: 7 - Scott was strong in the midfield, stopping attacks from Sky Blue and winning the ball for the offense.

Vero Boquete: 7 - Vero had multiple great plays to keep possession for the Royals. She danced her way around multiple opposing players.

Katie Stengel: 6.5 - Stengel didn’t have a bad night, but she didn’t stand out during the game.

Amy Rodriguez: 8 - Rodriguez scored a beautiful goal to start off the second half. She was dangerous throughout the night.

Christen Press: 9.5 - Press was very close to getting a 10. If she had scored the third goal, she would’ve gotten it. Either way, both goals were beautiful. Press was the most dangerous player on the pitch.

Gunny Jonsdottir: 6.5 - Gunny had one of her better appearances of the year coming off the bench for the Royals. She won the ball and helped the Royals on both sides of the pitch.

Erika Tymrak: 6.5 - We didn’t get to see too much of Tymrak, but she didn’t have any mistakes that stood out.

Makenzy Doniak: 7 - Doniak had less time than everyone else but she did a great job at winning the ball and taking it forward for more chances for Christen Press.
