Lots of love to go around in these ratings.

MLS: Seattle Sounders FC at Real Salt Lake Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 5 He did not have a bad game, rather, the defense made his job easy.

Aaron Herrera - 7 Aaron was really clean on the ball with nearly every pass reaching its intended target. He seemed especially confident this game with some skill checks as well. And even though it was not necessarily direct, he got an assist on Johnson’s goal.

Nedum Onuoha - 6.5 Nedum was in the right positions when Seattle started to threaten. Every time they had a look at the goal, Onuoha appeared to block their way.

Justen Glad - 7.5 Glad seems to have improved his game a bit over the last four or five games. He was exceptional winning the ball in the air against Seattle and made a few really timely tackles when the Sounders caught RSL on the counter.

Donny Toia - 5.5 Toia was pretty good on his side, quiet but effective. His passing could have been a little bit better early in the game.

Damir Kreilach - 6.5 The captain for the game got two assists and was continually relieving pressure in possession.

Everton Luiz - 6 Everton had another nice game, but there was not as much for him to do on the defensive side as usual since RSL was so good with its passing accuracy.

Albert Rusnak - 7.5 Rusnak was really fun to watch doing really difficult things with the ball and making it seem effortless. He hit the ball so cleanly on his goal as well that it was nearly impossible for Frei to do anything with it.

Jefferson Savarino - 5.5 Sava had a pretty quiet night outside of a few shots that were close but not on target.

Corey Baird - 7.5 Corey’s confidence is back and he had another goal and an assist. His creativity was on display and his defensive effort was part of earning the shutout.

Sam Johnson - 6.5 Johnson did really well to bring out the score sheet when it looked like RSL was going to have a difficult time breaking through when all 11 Sounders were in their own half. He helped RSL move the ball up the field by holding the ball up under pressure.

Substitutes:

Justin Portillo - 5.5 Portillo got his first minutes in a while and brought some aggression with him.

Joao Plata - 5.5 Plata’s speed helped RSL keep the ball in Seattle’s end towards the end of the game, but he was unable to threaten to score.

Marcelo Silva - N/A
