Our Utah Royals finally broke their Portland Thorns hex, and what’s this I see? Becky Sauerbrunn finally scored a goal?? Indeed she did! Now of she could only do that for the USWNT... It could be argued that the Thorns outplayed the Royals, and that Nicole Barnhardt kept us in the game, but it could also be viewed that the Royals were merely more selective with their shots and took better advantage of their shots. Either way you want to look at it, in the end we pick up the full 3 points and temporarily move back into 3rd place.
