Utah Royals announce their 2020 NWSL schedule

Utah Royals FC have released their 2020 NWSL schedule and we can’t wait to see them back in action. The team kicks off their season in Portland on April 18th, facing an excellent Thorns team. They open their season at home against Orlando Pride on April 24th.

One thing that immediately jumps out is how many Friday games there are. Most of those are due to Real Salt Lake, with whom they share Rio Tinto Stadium, play on Saturday. Utah plays at home three out of their four games in September, which could give the team a boost towards the end of the season.

Interestingly, they end the regular season the way they started it, in Portland (Sunday, October 18th). They play away to Sky Blue, who are now in the Red Bulls Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, the week before their final game. It’s a tough end to the season with two road games in a row.
