Soapbox Oracle - 3/9/20

Two weeks done, and a double Oracle winner - Carverb11 and Jared Nethery tie.

Oracle Scoring System:

  • Getting the right result (Team A beats Team B): 1 point
  • Each correct number of goals for either team: 1 point (result was 1-1, and you picked 2-1; gives you 1 correct pick and 1 wrong pick so 1 point).
  • If you picked the correct goal for one team, and the final result (result was 2-0, and you picked 2-1; you get 1 point for the goal, and one for the result so 2 points).

So there is are 0-3 points possible for EVERY game. Bonus games will also be added occasionally with International games, Open Cup and others.

There were a full 13 games last week, and 14 more upcoming as Real Monarchs SLC start play this week as well!

ORACLE OF THE WEEK: Carverb11 and Jared Nethery tie with 20 points each!

  • Participation: 20
  • Game with most points earned: Colorado Rapids beating to Orlando City; 37 points given out, and every player earned at least one.
  • Game with least points earned: Vancouver Whitecaps beating LA Galaxy home with only 10 players picking up a point each.
  • Bonus/Tiebreaker: None this week, there is one on the next survey!
