2020 Utah Royals home kit leak

We take a first look at what appears to be the new home kit

RSL Soapbox has received a photo of what appears to be the new home jersey for Utah Royals FC. The photo, displayed below, shows Elevated Title CEO Sally Farrar (left) holding up to be the new jersey with RSL’s VP of Corporate Sponsorship John Genna.

The photo was posted by Farrar on Facebook and with it being taking at the RSL offices with Genna, seems unlikely to be a fake.

While only a photo of the back of the jersey, it’s obviously a drastic change to Utah Royals FC’s gold jerseys, which they wore the past two seasons. You can see a faint outline mountains on the back, which look to continue in yellow around the front. There is also yellow stripes on the sides of the body, and a thin white stripe around the neck.

The jersey sponsor, Royal Title, is housed out of the Broadway Media Building, per a Linkedin post. Dell Loy Hansen owns Broadway Media, but it’s unclear what relationship he has with this title company. There is very little information available on Royal Title, and it’s worth noting that Sally Farrar is with Elevated Title, and her relationship with Royal Title is also unclear. The previous jersey sponsor for Utah Royals, Conservice, was on a three--year deal with the team and was announced as “the the largest jersey-front sponsor deal in domestic women’s soccer history.”

Preseason for Utah Royals FC started today, and it’s been expected that they team would be getting new home jerseys this year. The team follows an alternating two-year cycle with either a new home and new away jersey every year.
