Player Ratings: RSL 2-0 Colorado

Real Salt Lake’s victory over Colorado Rapids in MLS is Back produced some very good performances.

MLS: Colorado Rapids at Real Salt Lake Peter Casey-USA TODAY Sports

Zac MacMath - 5.5 MacMath didn’t have much to do for about 85 minutes, but he did what he needed to do when called upon.

Justen Glad - 6 Glad was RSL’s best center back on the night and had a clean game returning after a few months off. All that working out in isolation paid off.

Marcelo Silva - 5.5 Silva was in the right places at the right time and was in the mix a couple times to try to get on the end of a set piece.

Donny Toia - 5 Toia had a quiet, yet effective game.

Aaron Herrera - 6 Herrera showed us why he has so much potential in his future. He really is coming into his own with consistent performances. When you know what you can expect from a young player, they’ve settled in.

Evereton Luiz - 7 Luiz picked up right where he left off and lived up to his reputation as “The Enforcer.”

Albert Rusnak - 6.5 Rusnak had the goal to put RSL ahead in the first half and put it just where it needed to be to go in. When he had his chance to take the penalty and earn a brace, he squandered it.

Damir Kreilach - 7 Damir has an uncanny ability to have a relatively standard game and then show up at just the right time to put the ball in the net. In this case, he put in the game-winner.

Corey Baird - 6.5 Baird had a big impact on this game. He nearly scored early on and got an assist on Kreiclach’s goal to give RSL the win.

Douglas Martinez - 5.5 Martinez drew a penalty for RSL and had a decent showing in the first half, but went unnoticed for long stretches of the game.

Substitutes

Nick Besler - 5.5 Besler came on for an injured Beckerman and picked up where he left off, helping hold down the fort in the middle.
