I think the first half can be summed up in one way: why was our best attacking creativity coming from a center back? Do I like the possession? Sure. Without creativity? Nah. It’s got to be better.
And so it was. At halftime I would not have predicted RSL winning this by multiple goals, but Juarez made some good changes and the players on the field responded. It’s nice to see a multiple goal outing with multiple goal scorers, barring the Aaron Herrera goal, of course.
It’s something to build on, and that’s what is most important at this odd point in a strange season. There could be something here. Or maybe the first half was most indicative of what we’ll put forward.
I still stand by what I said last time. We’re not a great team, but we’re not a terrible team. I’d really like to see RSL get back to being the overlooked and underappreciated team again. I think it’s there, somewhere, within this group.
We’re really good at beating Colorado, though. How will we fare against others? Can we replicate a multiple goal, multiple scorer game going forward? I think that’ll be the key to whether we’re successful or not. Our defense is solid. Can we build a killer goal differential?

Is an RSL team without a Beckerman appearance still RSL?
We should play Kreilach at every position at once.
