Real Salt Lake will journey to Texas tonight to take on FC Dallas at 6 p.m. So far this season FC Dallas has been up and down team, leading it to be a little difficult to pin down what we might expect to see with them. They looked good with their win against Portland, but then lost to Minnesota, a team that RSL beat. Then both teams have lost to San Jose, FC Dallas also tied Colorado and Houston. So, which team will face each other is really a question we need to ask for both teams.
Dallas lineups have been interesting this year. They have lined up in a 3-4-3, a 4-2-1-3, a 4-2-3-1 and a 3-4-1-2 formation. So... are they lacking identity? Are they rotating and changing up formation due to the demands of an opponent, or injuries? Are they rolling some dice? Based on there record on the season, it is hard to tell. It is hard to say where they will have their players at the kickoff.
Jáder Rafael Obrian has scored 2 goals this season for FC Dallas, while 4 other players have added one a piece. Franco Jara has not really hit his stride so far this season with no goals, but look for him to get a chance up top tonight with Obrian.
Justin Che, a promising 17 year-old defender for FC Dallas is currently on loan, and will not play. Look for a fairly similar line-up to what they fielded last week against Minnesota.

FC Dallas is going to be looking to cut down on the individual mistakes players have been making through their start to the season and really focus on taking it to RSL throughout the match. Look for them to come out hungry, and try to get the 3 points at home. Which RSL team will show up to play them? That is the question.
