Player Ratings: Dallas 2-2 RSL

Ochoa had some heroic saves to help earn the point.

MLS: Real Salt Lake at FC Dallas Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

David Ochoa - 7.5 Eight saves. That is how many Ochoa had to make to help RSL take a point home from Dallas which is not easy to do.

Marcelo Silva - 3.5 Silva made a couple of unnecessary fouls that put RSL on their heels, one of which resulted in a PK goal for Dallas. Silva’s decision-making was often questionable in this game.

Justen Glad - 5 Glad had some good moments having been called on a lot throughout the game, but a deflected ball off of his foot resulted in the Dallas go-ahead goal.

Aaron Herrera - 6 It was good to see Herrera back on the field providing dangerous service into the box and holding things down with his strong presence. He provided the game-tying assist to Kreilach to get something out of what looked like a foregone conclusion.

Andrew Brody - 5.5 Brody did not shine in this game like he did in the past couple matches and looked extremely tired by the end.

Pablo Ruiz - 5 Ruiz had some good passes to find attacking players and dug in on defense, but was unable to control things in the middle of the field.

Damir Kreilach - 7 Kreilach lead the team through his play on the field and loves to show up in big moments for RSL. He snuck into the box toward the end of the game and expertly headed the ball down and past the Dallas keeper.

Nick Besler - 6.5 Nobody put in more work on defense than Besler did and he showed up at the right times to get the ball out of dangerous areas. Quite possibly his best defensive performance for RSL.

Albert Rusnak - 4.5 Rusnak unquestionably put in a lot of work on defense tracking back in a game where Dallas seemed to be on their front foot for most of the time. However, his decision-making was odd and his skied shot in a three on one situation was a big letdown.

Anderson Julio - 5.5 Julio was really fun to watch going at players but seemed to slow down a little in the second half.

Rubio Rubin - 7 Rubin showed his quality again scoring RSL’s first goal on a great turn to get the defender off balance and then put the ball in the net on a tough angle with his left foot.
