David Ochoa - 6.5 Ochoa was sharp and on his toes against Houston making some stops and thwarting chances.
Donny Toia - 6 After not having started for a few games, Toia came on and did not really miss a beat. He was ready and looked good throughout.
Justen Glad - 7 The lone RSL goal came from Glad off of a corner, and it was a deft finish from the center back.
Erik Holt - 5 Holt had a relatively quiet game but was involved in one or two RSL defensive breakdowns when Houston countered.
Aaron Herrera - 5.5 Herrera was involved in many of RSL’s chances going forward but was not connecting like he normally does.
Pablo Ruiz - 4.5 Simply put, this performance was not good enough from Pablo. The Houston goal started when Ruiz did not fully commit the tactical foul to bring Urruti to the ground. Rather, Houston was able to play the advantage and ultimately evened the game.
Nick Besler - 5 Besler has now started a handful of games and continues to complete passes at a very high percentage, consistently above 90%
Damir Kreilach - 6 Lots of scoring chances came close for Damir, but he was unable to score, unfortunately.
Albert Rusnak - 6.5 Rusnak had another nice game and it looks like he recalibrated his set pieces finding a streaking Justen Glad to get an assist. He created plenty of scoring chances for RSL.
Maikel Chang - 7 When Chang came out of the game, RSL lost a step or two in their ability to create scoring chances. It was an impressive game from Chang who has not seen the field much in 2021.
Rubio Rubin - 5 Another relatively quiet game from Rubin who has cooled off from his early run of form.
Substitutes
Bobby Wood - 5.5 Wood came on as a substitute playing significant minutes and looked decent in that time. Unfortunately he did not have a lot of time on the ball.
Anderson Julio - 5 Julio tried to make runs to get behind the back line but never really made much of it.
Justen Meram - N/A
Andrew Brody - N/A
