Scouting Report: LAFC vs. Real Salt Lake — again

MLS: Los Angeles FC at LA Galaxy Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Well, this time maybe RSL will be the team to win on the road?

So, what can we expect from LAFC?

They will be without F - Danny Musovski - and F - Kwadwo Mahala Opoku who are out injured. LAFC looks to keep the winning streak going, and also to focus on the middle of the field as they try to control the pace, tempo, and deny all the chances that RSL created in the last matchup.

One thing different in this match is that RSL has a couple of new players who have made it to the team and started training. It is doubtful either will start, however, they are something different. For LAFC they have Brian Rodriguez back from loan.

One thing to watch is Diego Rossi. Obviously RSL should watch him whenever he is in an attacking position, however, there is chatter that he might be on his way out of LA by the close of the transfer window on August 5th. He has been linked with some teams in the premier league and we’ll be watching to see if that impacts his level of play.

Once again, Bob Bradly outcoached RSL in their last match up with key substitutions that made a difference. Look for the coaching to be well done again tonight for LAFC.

Depth is also a big part of this match. Look for LAFC to use their substitutions and to use them as a way to bring fresh legs onto the pitch.

One last thing to focus on: flopping. So, will LAFC put their theatrics to play again? The Emmy’s are tomorrow...So, as you prepare for the match tonight, enjoy some videos of fake injuries:
