David Ochoa -7.5 Ochoa was masterful against the start-studded Galaxy. He came up with some massive saves that truly earned RSL the full three points.
Toni Datkovic - 5 Toni had some good moments, but ultimately got beat by Chicharito in the second half giving the Galaxy their goal.
Erik Holt - 5.5 Holt held his ground and stuck to his role, Not a bad game from the physically-imposing defender.
Justen Glad - 6 Glad had a couple of last second recovery runs to prevent the Galalxy from scoring on the counter.a
Aaron Herrera - 6 Herrera had another nice game on defense as per usual and got two shots off on the other side of the ball.
Everton Luiz -5 Luiz was not as good as we needed him to be in the midfield, but he did have a few good moments pushing the ball higher up the field.
Pablo Ruiz 6 Pablo had a much better showing against the Galaxy than against Portland. He put in a lot of work and played a great supporting role in winning the ball.
Damir Kreilach - 6.5 Kreilach got a header goal when we all through RSL would go into the half scoreless. He was also credited with the assist on Julio’s wondergoal.
Albert Rusnak - 6.5 Rusnak picked up another assist finding Damir right before the end of the first half and created a few other good looks for RSL. You could make an argument that he even played a bit too selfless.
Maikel Chang - 4.5 Chang’s service was just a bit off in this one leading to too many wasted chances.
Rubio Rubin - 5.5 Rubin did a good job of creating space up front for RSL and finding his teammates in good spots.
Substitutes
Justin Meram - 4.5 Meram was a step too slow and overall ineffective off the bench.
Andrew Brody - 6 Not bad from Brody in his first game back from injury. He went right back to what we saw from him earlier in the season, weaving through defenders and pushing the ball into better areas.
Anderson Julio - 7.5 Anderson Julio was an absolute supersub getting two shots on goal, one of which was a last minute winner that he got by popping the ball over the defenders and volleying it in with his left foot on the way back down. What a statement from Juio.
Nick Besler - N/A
