Real Monarchs will start their inaugural USL Pro season with a set of some very exciting matches, starting with two away trips to Los Angeles and Portland.
The home opener will be against Portland Timbers 2 on Wed., April 8 at Rio Tinto Stadium. The first two away matches will start against LA Galaxy II on Sun., Mar 22, followed by another Sunday trip to Portland Timbers a week later on March 29.
The full USL Pro schedule is yet to be announced, but the season is starting perhaps a little sooner than we at RSL Soapbox had anticipated, having expected the season to kick off in early April.
We'll have the full schedule here when it's released, but until then, we'll just have to bask in the glory of potentially having signed Coco Navarro, a forward from the RSL-AZ academy and Marquette University. He, and other players you can expect to see for Monarchs, played today in RSL's 2-1 preseason opener loss against New England.
